Over dit evenement

Dit evenement biedt tools, ideeën en inspiratie om je te helpen je professionele ontwikkeling in eigen hand te nemen. De webinars zullen onderzoeken hoe je verder kunt gaan dan formele training en samenwerkingsnetwerken kunt creëren met andere docenten. Je leert ook hoe je je eigen actieonderzoek kunt uitvoeren en hoe je leuke, spelgebaseerde leertechnieken kunt gebruiken om je onderwijsvaardigheden naar een hoger niveau te tillen.

We beginnen met het bekijken van het enorme aanbod aan professionele ontwikkelingsmogelijkheden die tegenwoordig beschikbaar zijn voor leraren. Daarna bekijken we hoe collega's en netwerken ons kunnen helpen bij het oplossen van onze huidige uitdagingen en bij onze groei als leraar. Tot slot onderzoeken we de waarde van actieonderzoek voor het verbeteren van je onderwijspraktijk en de leerervaring van je leerlingen. Discussieer mee en plan je CPD.

We kijken naar spelgebaseerde leertechnieken en hands-on activiteiten die ontworpen zijn om de focus te verbeteren en specifieke onderwijsvaardigheden aan te pakken. Twee leerkrachten van over de hele wereld laten je verschillende manieren zien waarop zij in contact komen met andere leerkrachten, deelnemen aan actieonderzoek en de leiding nemen over hun professionele ontwikkeling.

• Describe how the Energy Bar and Pie Charts relate to position and speed.

Energy is defined as the ability to do work. Energy can be found in many things and can take different forms. For example, kinetic energy is the energy of motion, and potential energy is energy due to an object's position or structure. Energy is never lost, but it can be converted from one form to another.

Light and the electromagnetic radiation spectrum. Wave and particle-like behaviour, and how to calculate the wavelength or frequency of a light wave.

A discussion on how energy can't be created or destroyed in an isolated system, and works an example of how energy is transformed when a ball falls toward the Earth.

An explanation of how LOL diagrams allow us to visually represent what we mean by conservation of energy as well as what we mean by an energy system.

The potential energy between two objects due to long-distance forces can be thought of as being stored in a field. When the objects move due to the field forces, the energy stored in the field decreases

Open Educational Resources (OER) are quality, free educational resources, that you can use without having to ask for permission, and that can be adapted to better suit local contexts and needs.

Many educators and developers don't know how to efficiently search for and identity useful resources. Some throw up their hands in horror and give up when tasked with finding suitable resources on the Internet. In this tutorial, we are committed to providing you with a search strategy for open content to ensure that you quickly find open resources. Let us begin!

On completion of this unit of study you will be able to:

• Decipher open licenses i.e. identify rights and permissions contained within Creative Commons licences attached to open content.
• Search for open content using common tools and filters such as on Google Advanced Search and the YouTube Creative Commons filter, as well as specialized services such as Creative Commons Search to find open media.
